At the Corvega Factory I was hovering around 25 reprojection and this dropped it down to 0.
I'd probably be down to 8-10 fps using same settings on the Reverb. The Lights Remover mod completely solved my fps issues indoors. I get like 20 fps maxing out Lone Echo and forcing ss 200% (Index) - it looks like a dream come true until I try to move, sigh. This Fallout 4 mod should help those of you with older computers and laptops get a few extra FPS out of the game (or maybe even help you run the game in the. Using CV1 in FO4 I couldn't go beyond ss 1.4, so using the Reverb even 2080 Ti may need to use SteamVR 100% or lower. Wolfenstein Cyberpilot may be even worseĢ080 Ti Lone Echo with in-game settings maxed (ss 2.0) couldn't even do 90 fps - res had to be reduced to ss 1.7. Note that ss may not be as important with the Reverb - maybe ss 100% looks awesome? Talking of the causes of the fallout 4 low fps indoors issue, well.
But even using 2080 Ti, Reverb will be a completely different story (Reverb has 103% higher res than Index - so that's running like 2 Indices simultaneously!). You can easily fix low FPS and gameplay lag due to the outdated graphics drivers. This does not mean that there won't be games perfectly playable using for example ss 200% on the Index, even using my oc'ed GTX 1080 - and there are many simple games working fine. Any ideas or help will be appreciated thanks. The FPS drop happens no matter where I am, however, it drops the most and becomes so unplayable when indoors. So if you just barely get 90 fps using 1080 Ti in a Rift-S game, you may - more or less - get the Cosmos and a 2080 Ti and just barely get 90 fps. I have ran other games including Fallout 4 and not had a performance issue with them. These numbers may not translate directly to fps, but it's probably close. Ss 2.0 corresponds to SteamVR 200% and is equal to 4 times the res. Again 2080 Ti will only give you 30% more fps compared to 1080 Ti - it may easily be eaten up by ss. Yes, 2080 Ti is just 30% faster than 1080 Ti, and maybe fun with some res and numbers: Bear in mind a 2080ti is a 30% performance improvement over a 1080ti.
